My mother in law was life flighted to Des Moines on Wed and has been completely sedated since. Her organs are starting to shut down. Its not looking good. My wife is staying strong around her family. Its really killing her I can tell. Her mom is only 45 and I would like you to pray for my wife. I dont think that her mom will make it. Main concern now is that her kidneys, liver and lungs have basically shut down. I have never been through this kind of thing and I need prayers to help me be as supportive for my wife.
I pray that our gracious father give this man the strength to be strong for his wife, that his strength strengthens her in this time of need. Lord I pray you lift this husband up to support his wife and that his strength is a source of strength for her. I pray these things in your all mighty name lord. Amen.
45??? Dang... that's young to have all that going on. What is it, cancer???? I'm extremely sorry for your wife. To have a young mother teetering on the edge of death is really tough. Be strong and hold her tight.
Thanks everyone! Ya she is way too young for this. They think she may have cancer but dont know for sure. They want to do a scan to check but with everything she is hooked up to the cant get her down for the scan. She is too weak for it. Biggest reason for all of this is she drinks and smokes too much and doesnt eat often. Its sad to watch but I knew it was coming eventually just didnt think it would be this soon. I hope to bring you guys good news soon!
*Update* My mother in law has gotten a lot better. She is breathing on her own for the most part and is now out of the ccu. It wasnt looking good at all for a while but the prayers really helped. Thanks guys. It was good to be able to hear her voice again. We didnt think that that was going to happen. God definitely was watching over her and has given her another chance. She isnt out of the woods yet but it sure is looking good.
