Thanks again everyone. Quite a scare for us. Then to top it off, my oldest was in a bad crash at the bike race today but came out with only minor scrapes and was able to finish the stage so he can race again tomorrow. Two of his teammates were not so fortunate and are likely done on the first day of a week long race. This has been the most nerve racking day of my life. Unbelieveable how much it hurts to have your children hurt. I think after this I can be rock solid when that giant whitetail walks under my tree this year. (Sorry Germ).

    The prayers are much appreciated!

Fletch, this is the first time I've come across this post, I am happy to hear your boy is going to be fine, thank God, good news out of a scarey situation.

That's great good news. You had our prayers even though I was only scanning the forum and didn't have time to post anything.

Good news Fletch! Man I was wrestling in my late 20's when I got a thumb in my right eye. I continued to workout for another hour or so and then my eye began to shut down. By the time I had driven 30 minutes toward home both of my eyes shut down. I had to pull over and call a friend to take me to the ER. I could not open my eyes for the life of me. The doctor said I had a corneal abrasion from one side of my eye to the other...when they gave me the pain killer eye drops I was in heaven!
