Surgery went well but the knee cap was shattered so bad that they had to remove half of it. Leg brace and cannot bend the knee for 6 weeks. Shoulder is broke so she is wrapped up and cannot use that arm for 4 to 6 weeks. She will be released from the hospital tomorrow to come home. Medical stuff coming to the house in the morning. Dr. wanted her to go to a rehab facility but she wants to come home. Will be off work for a while to take care of her. Thanks to all for the prayers, they help a lot. You are a great bunch of good people.

Tripped over a baby gate when her foot got hung on it. Got a new puppy in the house and she was trying to keep it out of the room. Just glad I was home when it happened. I'm often on the road and not home so it was lucky I was home as she could have laid there for quite some time.
Got the staples out of her knee today. Three and a half more weeks till the sling and leg brace come off. Thanks for all the prayers, she is on the mend.
Well the brace didn't come off the leg last week and the doctor said six more weeks for that. She started physical therapy last Wednesday and is now using a walker and out of the wheel chair. She can now also stand up and get around by herself, that leg was pretty messed up and with the broken shoulder, she just couldn't do much without assistance. Got to go back to work this past Wednesday and am off tomorrow so that will be my first day in the stand this year. Pumped up for her getting better and for the chance to get out and do some hunting finally. Thanks for all the prayers they have helped her a lot during this trying time.
