First of all I really like Tebow. I think he is a great teamate and obviously has talent. However in the win over the Bears I feel Tebow got way too much credit. Now I will say that in the other 3(?) come from behind victories he did play a big role. However in the bears game he only had one good drive when they went down for the touchdown. The other two scoring drives he couldnt even get them into the red zone... The one drive he only got a few yards past the 50 yard line...

I feel that in the victory over the Bears, Prater and the D should be getting most of the credit...

    Oh and Barber lol Yikes

Blasphemy! Tebow pushed Prater's foot forward so he could make those kicks. He also pushed Barber out of bounds late in regulation, and caused the Barber fumble in OT.

    What game were you watching?

If Tebow was a hunter the deer would just take his arrow from him and stab themselves

I think it would go more like this...

Timmy has been working hard all off season to be a better archer. Problem is, his release point is not very good. Some say it doesn't matter, as long as the deer dies, but Timmy is working hard to correct the issue.

Fast forward to the season. Timmy has a great team around him. The scout team has done a great job locating a big buck. The hands team put the stand in the perfect tree for him to be successful. Timmy did all the right things getting into his stand, but the buck is approaching from downwind. The buck smells him, but still decides to ignore the danger. The buck finally moves in range. Timmy draws, shoots, and misses. The big buck runs off, but decides to come back. Timmy draws, shoots, and misses. The big buck runs off, but again, decides to come back. Timmy draws, shoots, and misses. This time, the big buck runs square into a tree and knocks himself silly. This gives Timmy time to grab another arrow and make a good shoot. Hooray! Timmy does it again!

And the bowhunting world rejoices for the greatest bowhunter that has ever lived.

It's funny to me that people still make fun of him and dislike his fame. He is 8-1, has never EVER asked for attention or credit for what he has accomplished, and has a better record w less turnovers than TOM BRADY over the last 6-7 games. To discredit him, as many of you are trying, is as stupid as not giving credit to that atrocious D before his arrival for completely turning around their performances and playing like they have something to play for.

Tebow always gives credits to his defense and teammates and yet still people have distain for him. I used to find it funny, almost as much as the blind supporters claiming divine intervention in tebows on field performance.... Now it is just getting sickening.

    Read the OP again....

I like Tebow and think he has talent... However we are talking about the Bears game... If you think Tebow won that game then you were not watching the same game....

Then after the OP Vito and I are making fun of his supporters more than we are of Tebow

Hey, I just like ruffling the feathers of some of his fans. Some of his fans are his greatest enemy. That is where the "dislike" for Tebow stems from. There are probably very, very, few people in this world that could actually dislike him...especially if they met him. And if they do, they have problems.

But is it funny or sickening? I'm confused.

It's just nauseating how people are still questioning him. Give it up already. Last I checked Tebow threw a TD w 2 minutes left, and helped drive down the field w 45 seconds to go to set up a FG to tie and again drive the field in OT to set up the game winning field goal.

Saying Tebow DIDNT have a hand in the come back is as silly as saying the kicker didn't with his amazing FGs

Sure Barber running out of bounds and fumbling gave Tebow the opportunities... But if he was as terrible as some act, he wouldn't be able to continually capitalize on the opportunities.

He is a big moment player who plays amazing when it counts. Once he hones that in for a full game, the league better watch out, regardless how ugly his throwing form is.

Someone the other day jokingly told me if LBJ and Tebow combined, you would have the most dominant dual sport player in history combining to play all 4 qtrs. Lebron for the first 3 and Timmy will step in in the 4th when it actually matters lol

You really feel sick because someone questions a player? That must suck.

The entire Tebow situation is overblown. If people are going to give him the majority of the credit for winning (one extreme), then people will point out why he deserves little (other extreme). Do you really not get how this works?

Why so serious? How does it affect you? I like to get Tebow fans fired up because it entertains me. I've never hid that fact. I've also never said I hope he fails. I may bring people back down to earth (no, thats not a shot at christianity) once in a while, but I have nothing against the kid. I have even publicly stated that I hope they win the Super Bowl. I truly do. I hope they beat the Packers in miracle-like fashion. Siman's head would explode.

Lol it doesn't personally affect me and I couldn't agree more that Tebow beating the packers would be awesome.

You and I are the most outspoken on this which creates a dialogue, but the majority of my comments on Tebow detractors aren't directed at you specifically even though I've kinda failed in making it seem that way.

The only sporting event that can affect my day is UK basketball, I try everything possible to care less and I simply can't. It can either make or ruin my day when they play.

I dont think setting up two field goals over 50 yards counts as "Driving down the field"

3 of the 4 last minute wins I give credit to Tebow.. If you want to give him credit in the Bears game it is like 15-20% of the credit

Unfortunately, most of the Tebow supporters haven't really shown up since he starting playing. That just leaves you and I for the most part to keep this party going.

    How about those Hoosiers?

I did enjoy Calipari's post game comments about his players not fouling. "I asked them why they didn't foul, and they all said they weren't by the ball. I was in the corner...I was over there. Someone was near the ball and we'll watch the video to see who that was."

I can just picture that conversation going on. "Wasn't me coach, I had 24 and he was in the corner...gulp."

Lol yeah that was a crazy game which a boneheaded play let them hit the amazing shot in the end. Hoosiers deserved that one though, hit 60% from 3s and kept our All American bigs in foul trouble. Definitely an easier loss to stomach for me than UNC or Kansas would have been

    Hijack over! :busted:

The better team won. I can think of 4 droped passes that were perfectly placed including one that would have scored six. The kickers goal was awsome and could of been five yards longer easily. Barber going out of bounds is his brain fart. The fumble was a strip not just a ball drop. To be 10 down with less then 3 minutes on the clock is probably one of the best come backs I have ever watched. Sans the Sag Tim Tebow...
