collage.jpg Just wanted to share these couple of pics from today.. Getting out the house and away from the Sunday crowd that flocks here on Sundays I figured that I would practice patients and calls..NO WEAPON......

First a group of Toms come in no really responding to any calls..(group of may be 8-10 Toms)

So I cluck a bit and chirp a bit and I hear more rustling coming my way.....So I sit in silence for a minute or two and glance to my right and here come the Hens and younsters maybe 15-20 total.... maybe 20 yards out... they never noticed me.

The biggest Tom had to be 20-25#'s with a beard maybe 8" long...

It was great to see this many birds but the itch to have fresh Tom in the freezer still bothers me....But that's why there is seasons and times ,just so that we can continue to have groups like this......

On the way home a field of atleast 100-200 Geese in just one field.... Now if I can find Deer like these flocks that would be an awsome site to see..
