Are your arrow set ups equal In weight? This can be a bit of a pain when trying to get the same weights In my target arrows as my hunting arrows when going the EFOC route. I haven't even ordered my 340 FMJ's yet (soon hopefully) but when I do I want to have everything ready to go. I've been playing phone tag with a guy from 3 rivers on brass Inserts and glue on tips for my FMJ's. I would have already ordered the tips, brass Inserts, adapters but I need to know for sure If these will work on my 340 FMJ. I'd like both of my practice and hunting set ups to be exactly the same weight wise. I also plan on having my stump shooting arrows exactly the same weight. The only problem Is I can't go with the Judo's, I've gotta go with a steel blunt Instead because of lack of weight In the Judo's.

Well we finally talked and I just ordered my 250 grain field tips, 100 grain brass Inserts, 100 grain steel adapters, and some 250 grain steel blunts for stumping. I've got some 10 grain washers to throw on my target and stumping arrows to equal the weight If my arrows are off a little so were getting there. I just need to find some 340 FMJ's that come In the camo pattern and not the black.

    Steve,
I use 250gr field tip for practice and 125gr broadheads with 125gr steel insert adapters on Gold Tip Traditional 5575's. That gives me the same weight arrow as my cedars with Bear greenies of 565gr. The cedars just don't have the FOC like the GT's.

Mine too, I like the simplicity of being able to shoot 125 grain FP's, hex heads, judos and broadheads with no hassle!

Mine is easy too. 100 gr insert & 100 gr head or point. And honestly I can get away with 125 gr point if I wanted as well.

Steve, I think you'll need to go to the FMJ Dangerous Game shaft for camo but I'm not 100% on that. With that much weight up forward you may need the heavier spine too. (Strike that, I just checked the Easton site on the camo FMJ) I'd call Lancaster to check if they are carrying it. The regular FMJ isn't on their internet site but they do have it in stock.)

Here's the Muzzy 100 gr. brass inserts (The Axis HIT are the ones that fit the FMJ).
