I am looking for some cheap practice arrows that will fly the same as my CX Maxima Hunter KV's they are 250 and I can't support my full quiver the way that I would like to due to the price tag. Any help? I just need arrows that will fly the same (or very similar) that won't put such a whole in my pocket.

Always practice with what you hunt with. You will never find an arrow that flies exactly like your Maxima KVs unless it is one of your KVs...

I kinda thought that would be the answer. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and pick up a few summer jobs and shovel walks. Thanks!

I 100% agree, it is not a cheap sport to do properly by any means. Good on you for planning on earning it through some side gigs and purchase them! Good luck and may success be in your future!

I really like my easton powerflights! They are rugged, and at about 40$ a dozen, about the cheapest arrows you can buy. They are much more sturdy than the lightweight bloodlines or the axis, which have a tendency to break on deflections and hard impacts. I don't shoot the maximal though, so I can't compare.

I hunt with Gold tip pro hunters and practice with gold tip devastaters ( $24.00/6), They are exactly the same weight, and fly identical. I take off the 4" vanes when I buy them, and refletch them with blazers with a helical.

When I switch arrows or buy new ones I always buy a dozen. 6 to practice with & 6 for hunting.
