    Just read about this new tick borne illness. No cure and the disease can be in your system minutes after you are bit. The story did not say the kind of tick that carries the disease. Spray down every time you are out. As somebody that has had their butt kicked by a tick let me say it sucks, spray down even in the yard.

    Thanks for the heads up. I spray sawyers permethrin on all the cloths I take to the woods with me and my camper & truck interior. Never find any ticks on me but people with me that don't use the stuff always do. Good stuff.

    Just read that it's transmitted by deer ticks or black legged ticks

    Black legged ticks are deer ticks.
