Essex County, Ontario, Canada. last year i watched this guy for 8 hours tending to a doe on a little 10 acre woodlot down the road from my house, i got some trail camera pics of him and he was a nice 10 pointer last year. this year when i got a trail camera pic of him i was beyond excited with how much he grew. last year he probably would have went around 14--145". he scored this year after the 60 day dry period at GROSS 187 2/8" and NET: 184"! no high fences and no food plots anywhere that i know of in my county! this is the second deer i have ever shot and recovered, the first being a button buck about 8 years ago when i first started hunting. he is the 8th biggest buck ever taken in Ontario with a bow, and 2nd biggest in Essex county taken with a bow. i harvested him November 9th, 2014 and could not be happier!

Nice story to the pics! I gotta admit when I first saw this back in November and there was no response I assumed it was just posted in error. Glad to hear your second deer is a complete monster! Congrats

Apparently, that's all he needs. lol The symmetry on that buck is kind of surprising.

hahaha well i only had 2 arrows left from that batch of 6 :P i use what i have and when i run out i get more. I'm confident with my shooting, i practice at 40 yards regularly so when i have an animal at 20 yards i have more confidence in myself :P even with my legs shaking a hundred times a second when this big boy stepped out at 17 yards ;P
