You bet. I don't know what scares me more. Seeing the way children are today in our schools, or the way those 30, 40, 50, 60yr olds behaving exactly like my kids in school:rolleyes:

Thanks for the heads up info, Matt. Someone (I believe he goes by "fletched") pointed out that he thought it might be due to over rotation of the cam, and the lobe making contact on that surface during the shot. Looks like he wasn't too far off.

Atlas, who was advising you to twist one side of the yoke?

The "super-engineers" over on AT. I read all 4 painful pages of garbage there and there were at most 12 useful posts including Atlas' original.

Oh, ok. I only read over the first page briefly before my mind went numb.

Wait a minute...I have or have had an Allegiance, General, and Admiral. All three were exceptional bows and the only problem that I had was resolved by Bowtech immediately. So for that reason I will be buying a Destroyer next month. ;)

Funny you mention this. I went over there to check out he pics of the cam, and I went through several pages (there's around 150 posts) out of curiousity. WOW, is all I can say! There was stuff flying around from every direction. It was about as orderly as a prison yard riot.:D I got out of there with a quickness, mainly because that Kung Fu panda bear was giving me a friggen headache.

Keep in mind that when threads like this one and the one you posted on AT cause them severe headaches.

The ONLY reason we asked what dealer it was, was so we could get Corporate in touch with them to see if there is something wrong with that particular bow. Not to get you in trouble with your dealer in any way shape or form...

I honestly could not care less........they want my $800 and I want a quality product in return.........the dance ends there. It's business.........we are not friends or family. You should know this better then anyone.

I wanted feedback from other customers........especially those who know bow mechanics much better then I do.

Well, the last time Corporate got "in touch" with a dealer to solve a problem for me I had to find a new shop because of the nightmare they created. That's help I don't need, thanks anyways but my drive is long enough to this shop...........I don't even know where the next one is.

Not that I NEED another Bowtech, Just like to buy the new one every year or so. I could still shoot deer with my old Martin. And what I had was no problem for me, Bowtech replaced the limbs on all the Generals, even if there was not a problem.

    Bowtech baby!

Per your first post on this thread you were asking for help from anyone involved with BowTech so that's what we were trying to do, that's all.

There are quite a few dealers in the western part of New York and within a reasonable drive to PA. They are all listed on BowTech's web site. http://www.bowtecharchery.com/deale...+&s_Dealer_Radius=100&s_Dealer_Category=00001

Twisting the yoke will Not affect cam clearance in any way. The only reason you would twist one side of the yoke is if you need to level the limb fork, etc.

As noted in Matt's post, the tolerances are very tight, and the Cam will Not touch unless it is over rotated by the bow builder, or tech changing the draw length.

Atlas, I feel for your concern, but this is bulls---. You've gone on 2 sites with a concern about the product and now that reps for the company are reaching out to you to address it you're putting your head in the sand.

I've got no dog in this fight as I could care less about the name on my products and have about as much brand loyalty as they have to me, but if you want to bark this loud about an issue you should also be there to help it get resolved.

Old saying, if you're not a part of the solution...

Atlas, I have to wonder if there is anything Bowtech could do to make you happy with this bow.
It certainly looks (from what I've read) like you went into this looking for a reason to be disappointed.
Whatever happens, I hope you do get it resolved to your satisfaction.

Thing is carpsniper, there's nothing wrong with atlasman's bow, he's concerned about a shop bow which also doesn't have a issue.
