    SHHH.Repeat after me, there are no decent sized bucks in Minnesota, nothing to see here.

    Shot in sherburne county Minnesota ten miles away from my house but your right no decent sized bucks here!! LOL oh yeah it was the kids first deer

    Yeah the refuge is right on the other side of the road from me. People usually only think of southern MN as having big bucks, Central Minnesota has plenty of big bucks too.

    That buck was killed near Sebeka MN not on the Sherburne Wildlife Refuge near Zimmerman.

    There have been a bunch of REALLY BIG bucks shot in Minnesota this year. The potential to be one of the best BIG BUCK states is here but like Steve said even though there will be top end bucks that rival any other state we will remain towards the bottom of the Midwest states. We don't even need to make any really drastic changes like moving or shortening seasons. If we simply changed the rules that hunters in SE MN have to follow we would be on our way. If we can get the hunters that shoot every buck they see to take their head out of their @$$ and eliminate party hunting, move to the 4 point on at least one side and quit using the excuse if I don't shoot it my neighbor would BS we can get back to being towards the top.
