Here is sound advise stay out until you hunt it. Approach from a cross wind. The deer will bed on the points of the woods or on the high points of that structure. Look at a topo and see where they will be in that woods. If you want to set a camera set it up away from where you will be hunting like on the other side of a a field edge. Use a mobile setup for your tree stand like a lone wolf or muddy. Remember the deer pick this structure because its hard to approach and enter without being detected. Be selective on the days you hunt it make sure the wind is just right. Early is better but after the corn is picked I would hunt this on morning sits. You may catch a buck returning to the bed after a late night of chasing doe good luck!!
I'd start hunting it early, and once the corn is cut you should maybe only hunt it in the mornings or on all day sits. Use the cover of darkness to get in w/out being seen. My gut says the place will probably be hit or miss, but you never know till you try. Sounds like a great spot for that big buck to isolate his does during the rut untill they're ready. W/ the way things are starting to get in regards to gaining hunting ground, any ground is good ground.
Get the farmer to drive you out on his tractor. That way the deer won't see you in the field and they won't care about the tractor.
Play the wind and hunt it now that deer are transition back to corn more. Once it gets picked it will still be desirable to the deer for awhile but you will want to wait until it is like and the field is clear to go in.
