I know nothing about drop tine bucks.. will a deer that shows potential or drop tines have these every year? Does that trait run in the deer genetics or is this a one time freak thing? Last year I picked up a buck that showed 2 drop small semi-drop tines on the same side. What is the chance this deer will have these this year but larger? Could be interesting.

If that thing gets a few more years on it, it could be a very cool buck.

we have had a drop-tine buck running around our farm for four or five years.....so im guessing its genetic. he always has one drop off his right beam. hope this buck of yours has them again. looks fairly young in that pick. could become a real giant in a year or two!!

Can't say for sure, but I'd guess he'd have at least one DT again!

I'd think he would carry that genetic, maybe not always two but most likely one. Could turn into flyers off the back of his rack like they are there or actual drops in years to come
