Marijuana doesn't bug me. It's no harsher than alcohol or cigarettes. You can think otherwise but there are no conclusive studies to show its worse than cigarettes. If you're going to ban pot ban alcohol and tobacco. Shoot I wish you would so that I would save money

To argue the positive outweigh the negative of alcohol is just preposterous.

Tons of people do drugs tons of smart people tons of political figures and leaders tons of celebrities and they seem motivated and just as smart as someone who doesnt. They also often do harsher drug than weed in combination with alcohol and cigarettes. Personally I'll stick to my bottle but if weed is something you like, go ahead. One less piece of the pie the government won't be waiting their money on fighting

I think we need to open our eyes and not be hypocrite on our own parts. I'm for guns but I don't want to see rocket launches sold over the counter now because of rights even though I may really really really like rocket launchers

I just remember back when I thought it's was a joke " medical Marijuana" and now we've actually stooped that low.

Of course, but at a much higher level if it is legal. There are still people out there that don't smoke weed right now because it's illegal. Make it legal and they will do it. This just compounds the number of people on the roads that are not in their normal state of mind.

Wow...are you denying the actual health benefits of marijuana? Really? These have been proven and observed facts.

I am all for the decriminalization of drugs and could care less if weed is legal or not, I don't touch the stuff but also don't care if people want to. BUT, I am 100% against home drug manufacturing. If a grow lamp causes a fire or a meth house explodes innocent people could die. And we can't just say, "well they won't be able to do it again". So I think there is a fine line that needs to be drawn.

I mean...I could say the same thing for cooking regular meals. How many ovens, crockpots, gas grills, etc cause fires every year?

True, but the meth house explosion? I mean some of our wives are bad cooks, but nothing should be exploding or giving off toxic fumes.

I'm not against certain restrictions for public safety. Create a legal limit and/or capacity for meth.

Pot will be decriminalized soon enough. Although the South will be the last place, with LA being probably either the last or 2nd to last state to do it. We need all the old, close minded people to die off.

Hell, I've changed my stance. Lets legalize it all. While we are at it, lets legalize gambling and prostitution. In fact, lets just go full on anarchy. Every man for himself. We don't need any laws. Lets get back to the time when a person could do what ever they wanted without consequence. F the police. I need my personal freedoms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, there's just way too many of those old closed minded folks that actually care about the good of society over ones own personal selfish freedoms.

Cmon man. It has been stated all along that once those decisions and activities affect others than it becomes critical to impose rules and regulations. The difference is that we are proposing to let a guy do whatever he wants as long as he doesn't impose on others rights or safety. Simple really.
