Again...yes they probably will. And NO ONE is in favor of allowing that. I'm actually in favor of tougher DUI penalties.
Most employers won't change their drug testing policy anyway. It will be the same, so you will still have to smoke at your own risk. Just like they random alcohol test at many businesses.
And that is their right to do that. If you like to smoke pot you decide how important it is to you and find a place that does change their rules for a legal product. I'm not seeing the correlation.
My point is people won't just do it in their own home. Surely you can see it. There will be weed bars and people will still drive to and from them. Just like the do to regular bars.
And that is the employers right. And if I disagree, I could go find an employer that is less strict. Isn't freedom great?!
They're all laws that help us all get along. How can you not see the damage beer has done to so many lives and not see that access to over the counter weed will add greatly to that? I don't tell me that pot smokers will confine themselves respectfully to their homes. Pots social thing and it will be smoked everywhere no matter WHAT the laws say now. Look a little further down the road when your child is 8 and and gets high with a friend. It's legal!
Wow...you sure love the nanny state. I hope you never argue if the day comes when your precious government takes your guns. They are just protecting you!
Again, how can you not see the positive beer and alcohol has also done to people’s lives? There are negatives to everything. Like bowhunting. We wound deer all the time. Or say, look at the families that have broken up because the dad is too obsessive about bowhunting that he doesn’t put his family first. That is a negative aspect of that activity. Pretty much all activates have negatives. Some, more than others. Millions upon millions of people use alcohol responsibly. It all comes down to personal responsibly and holding people accountable for their decisions. Let the people who use it responsibly enjoy it. Punish those people that can’t use it responsibly.
