You have no right deciding whether or not me being able to legally smoke in my own home is a good or bad decision. That is only for me to decide.
I know someone who is suffering from cancer and getting chemotherapy, she said about the only way she can get her self to eat is by the use of pot. Which also happened to be the case when my aunt had breast cancer a few years ago.
I think that's being a little dramatic. Unless he has quite a bit at one time, it's most likely going to be a misdemeanor. Usually nothing more than a fine for the first offense. So we should eliminate DUI's because people won't be able to get a job if the get one?
Smoking in one's own home/property =/= driving on a public roadway while mentality impaired let's keep things apples to apples here
No, I didn't miss it. I just don't necessarily agree with it. I agree that there are certainly hypocrisy on both sides of the isle. I just don't believe we need more restrictive gun regulations for many reasons. A gun is a tool.
Look at the damage alcohol has done in this world and we need another drug to be legalized. Sound like you've got a big brain and won't have any issues but think about those less fortunate that will go to weed for a vise. How many lives will this new freedom kill and ruin over the next century. I think it's BS that the US politician want new taxes so bad that they would legalize it just for that. In my day I could roll a joint in one hand so I'm no stranger to smoking weed but when I was a child I spoke like a child, understood like a child and thought like a child but when I became a man I put away childish things. 1 Coninteians 13. But that's me:-/ But I do think we should have the freedom to speed through school zones. The kids are young so how attracted can the parents be to them? See how hypocrisy works.
Ha Ha............. Any legitimate employer for a real job checks records these days. What happens when they see the perspective employee has been busted for pot? Most places have a drug test that eliminate you if you have pot in the blood stream. Plus many employeres have random drug testing. So your little street corner thing has plenty of ways to ruin a guy’s life. And getting a drunk driving can have some pretty detrimental consequences as well for what it is worth. But that doesn’t matter because nobody here is advocating for OWI whether being pot or alcohol. We are saying a guy should be able to do this stuff legally in his house if it doesn’t affect anyone else. Drunk driving clearly affects others.
How many lives will weed kill? please keep your arguments with apples to apples comparison smoking in my own home/private =/= speeding on a public road through a school zone
My response was to Brad, and if it's illegal (which it is in almost every state) then buying drugs and getting caught was a bad decision. That's what I was referring to. I personally don't care what you do in your own home. If you want to risk buying illegal drugs and using them in your home, that's fine.
Nobody ever ever ever ever ever talks about the positive things alcohol do. All you hear is that it is bad bad bad bad.
But you do You care so much that you want me to be punished for certain actions that I do in my own home.
