Since every guy likes to show off his toys, lets all post our vehicles that we are using for hunting this year. My truck 03 Dodge 2500 My bike 07 Suzuki RMZ 250
My "going to the ranch" vehicle.... [/IMG] my workhorse...I realize I don't any good pics of my 4 wheeler(2006 yamaha 400 4X4). It's got all the hunting goodies attched on it. [/IMG] I just bought an electric EZGO golf cart this past spring-got it all camoed out and lifted-this is going to be my "to and back from the stand" vehicle (NO NOISE). ...No pictures of this one yet.
stick i love the megacab. That will be my next truck if I don't get the new dodge. How are the EZGO carts for off roading? I've been temped to get the family to buy one and fix it up for hunting. Trying to get away from using our bikes to get close to our stands.
my wife drives the new 2010 dodge 1500 full crew cab trx off road, and i'm driving a 1998 chevy 1500 cheyenne pickup. oh well at least she can cart the kids around safely with that and it pulls our camper a hell of alot better than my truck. If I shoot my monster this year i'll have to tell her were breaking in the new dodge and throwing the deer in it!
Without even looking at your location, I knew you were from Texas. Does anyone drive stock trucks down there? All of the drilling guys up here from Texas are easy to spot driving down the highway in 2500s, F-350s, Power Wagons, etc all on 35-38" tires. Here's my ride (tiny compared to most on here):
Man some of you guys have some sweet rigs. Here's my transportation. Sorry couldn't resist. I ain't got a picture but my ride is a White/Tan 2007 Ford F-150 Super Crew.
That's pretty close.. although mine has better rims and bigger tires. Not a lot bigger.. but bigger. But hey.. 6"... 7".. what's the difference right.
Thanx Jay-the mega cab is why I bought the truck. When we are pulling the camper on a long haul-my girls are alot easier on me!:D The golf cart isn't finished yet, but I have taken it to the ranch and it works wonders for me. As long as you don't have to have 4 wd and need a bunch of clearance -I'll drive it to the stand, over a 4 wheeler hands down! a pic. of a work in progress...(after the paint job-it was originally canary yellow) [/IMG] MGH-most of the boys down here -don't run big tires. I'm one of the minority. You will see a ton of diesels here though. My boat has undoubtly seen more blood than anything I own. From countless ducks, doves, deer, wild hogs, freshwater and sal****er fish..even a few 6 ft sharks have been had in this rig. 18 ft semi V -all welded hunting machine [/IMG]
