It's great being able to do some normal activities again after being released from having to wear a splint on my left hand.

One of the first things I did this past weekend was remodel my old bow display case. I had originally built it for one bow. Later I had changed it to accept two bows, but the new Triax is shorter and wider, and I didn't want to have to retract the sight every time I hung it up, so I took it off the wall and moved the mounts around. There is barely enough depth to accommodate the wide Triax on top of the Heli-m.

This was actually just a first step in a complete remodel of this room, which is my hunting room. The next step is to get rid of that God-awful color and go with something "outdoorsy". Actually, I have no idea what color it is, but it just doesn't work in a hunting room. :)

    What surgury?
I'm curious as I have bulging disks in my neck affecting my bow use (fingers, shoulder). Surgery to fuse 2 vertebrae is one option for me.

Mine was more simple procedure. I had an arthritic left thumb that was really bad. They did what they call an LRTI procdure. In a nutshell they removed a bone, cleaned up the thumb bone, removed a tendon from my forearm and used that tendon to replace the bone they removed. Fun times.

    Yeah, the $17,000 man.

That was the price tag on that little procedure.
