    find food that is currently being consumed by deer and sit there. bucks will be feeding heavy as the rut winds down.

    I usually hunt between an active food source and bedding. I tend to hunt closer to the bedding area. within 150-200 yards switching back and forth from doe trails and smaller buck trails.
    You never know. There could be a buck out there trailing does hoping to get lucky on the last available doe.
