Nice cabins, guys. Me, my brother, and my Dad are currently looking to buy either some property on a local lake, or a large tract in northern Arkansas to build a fishing/hunting camp. It's something we have always dreamed to have as a family, and I think we are close to finally fulfilling that dream. Now if we can just find that perfect piece of property that suits everyone's needs. We're all too damn picky.
There are always things a person wish they would of done different. I would of put the tubes in for infloor heat. I would of put a floor drain next to my water heater. I would of probably put more fill in and built up the building site a little more for better dranage. Overall we are happy as I'm sure you are with your place. Live and learn.
These are some amazing cabins and camps guys! I can't wait to one day be breaking ground on a camp or cabin. I currently just do the tent thing but don't have any pics on my phone.
What a steal Ferg!! I would've jumped on that in a heartbeat. Should be a pretty nice set up when you get her fixed up. Definitely worth $100, hard to find even a mediocre tent for that price.
built in 57-58 by my grandfather(whom I never got to meet), his best friend Tuggers, and a couple others, after the first camp was knocked over by a logger....may be gone any day when Tuggers dies as Keweenaw Land Assoc will not transfer or sell the lease to us. directly across the road(Nighthawk creek where we get our water)

Great cabins guys! My shack: Picture was taken after a windstorm blew the door off. Need to finish the porch and siding this summer, then put a card table in it. Not going to be used for sleeping anymore...we have the "Golden Nugget Raw Dog Ranch" for that (Free...i think its my 4th free camper ive got LOL) : Little shed we have up there: ' And my parents cabin..a little nicer then ours: The view:

I kick myself every time I think about the in-floor heat. If I could go back and do 1 Thing that would be it.

Its my favorite place on earth. I work 24 on 48 off, so during the summer, on my offs days, that all i do is hangout, swim, have fires, grill food and drink beers.
