I'm going out tomorrow just after this rain/snow cold snap. With the rut kicking in and the cold front will it be good or great to be in the stand? I'm thrilled to be getting an invite and PUMPED, just wondering if the rain/cold/freeze will really kick up the movement. Thanks y'all, best of luck out there! Longdraw ##------>
Usually right after any front is good. When you have the high pressure system move in right after the front thats what seems to make the deer move a little more. With it being during the rut and it being as cold as it is i would assume that it should be a good hunt for you.
Oh well. Stuff came up and my invite fell thru. Those that have a place to go: please think of me at home cleaning my garage and ENJOY your hunt! Good luck y'all
This year, going by my own visuals and reading what has happened in the live from the stand thread, well if your name isn't Bloodcrick , the pre frontal action has been better during the brief warm ups. I think the moon phase timed with winds and cold this year has messed things up a bit.
We have snow coming this weekend. I'm going to try to be out tomorrow and Friday evening after work. If allowed, Saturday morning as well. We sold our house and are in the middle of packing and moving.
