I finally got around to joining the site. I shot this guy back on Sept 23rd. This is my first bow kill ever now in my third year bow hunting. It was raining before I even got out the door and was lucky enough to tough it out for once and see this nice 8pt following a fork 4pt around 6pm. Even luckier, he ran less than 100 yards down the hill, and I heard him crash to the ground.

South Central Michigan Buck shot October 9th > scored 143 and weighed in at 225 lbs.

I shot this 11 pointer 15 minutes before last shooting light on October 9th! I wouldn't have guessed a buck of this caliber would be moving during shooting light at this point in the season.

Got this bad boy Saturday October 15th, just before legal hours were gone...however watched him feed within 20 yards for 20 minutes eating acorns (without presenting a good shot). Gale force winds during the day had me questioning staying in the tree, happy I did though!
