Had a great Pa. and Md. season for birds this year.
I shot my Md bird with a gun so I am posting pics of my Pa. bow kill...
Even found some shrooms on the way out.....what a day!!!

First bear. Great time yet a little unnerving at moments.

Nice job ya'll. I hope to add one this fall. Didn't happen for me this spring.

You should post them to www.huntingtagsonline.com as well they are doing some kind of promotion for their Grand opening and my buddy Rob just won for the weekly drawing.

This bird was the result of a good ole belly crawl thru the woods for about 100 yards. One of the most frustrating mornings ever in the woods turned into one of my most memorable hunts.

First black bear taken May 30th, 2011 in central Saskatchewan. Not a huge guy but the coloring is awesome and that was my reason for taking him. He is being done up in a half mount to show off the chest markings.

    17-2/8 skull

Wow! He shed his velvet early! Hopefully you took a couple pictures with your bow so you can enter it in the contest.

We're you hunting Native lands to get out that early?

Yes, I am .00000000001% Native American. The rut starts early on those lands. I've seen bucks chasing does for a week now. Its on!!!

Unfortunately, I don't have the deer anymore. The bigfoot (red eyes) lurking behind me stole the deer before I could tag and get the proper pics for the contest. I'm so pissed!

My August black bear success up at Cygnet Lake Camp in Ontario. Trip was a blast and a great way to kickoff the 2011 season!
