Ok so I have this idea... When you go to the store, a certain brands mineral is cheaper in block form. Ex: a primos red spot 4.5 lb block is 4.99, yet a 4.5 lb bag of red spot powder is 9.99. Take that into account, what if instead of paying extra to not have to wait until the block melts, buy the cheap block, smash it up and use it like the bagged version.... Is that a good idea? I was just brainstorming

In theory yes. Sounds like a messy job though. Unless you smash it right where you intend to use it.
