Possible VA State Bow Record Buck

    This buck was taken with a bow in VA about a week ago. Story goes that the hunter missed initially and the buck bedded down for 3 hours before getting up and giving the fellow a second chance. Unofficial scoring was somewhere in the neighborhood of 215" gross. Stilll one heck of a buck regardless of its score!

    Monster buck! From the picture though I would have guessed it was taken 20 years ago. Between the picture quality, camo pattern, and mustache!! LOL

    Anyone else think he needed another year ? :)

    Thats a freakin' monster. Why dont bucks like that walk past MY stand !!(when Im in it)

    I the thought the same thing. Nice buck, but I hope he got better pics.

    I think the secret to his success was the stache! Think I will start growing one today!

    I'm hoping there are some better pictures also. This one was just sent to me via cell phone, but the deer was taken a couple of weeks ago and better pictures have yet to surface. I'll definitely post them up if I get some, though!

    Wow!!! Thats right down the road from me! Its a county not really known for farming unlike Bedford Co which produces big bucks....interesting!

    Wow. That's a stud for sure. To think he had to watch him bed for 40 minutes! That's crazy.
