Ive wanted to go to kentucky to hunt for a couple years and a friend of mine said we should go this year and im really thinking about it. Kentucky has over the counter tags and there has been some really nice deer shot in the state so what does everyone think about a late october hunt in kentucky. I would be back in time for the rut in pennsylvania and i have found a couple good wma's in kentucky and the one i like alot is the higginson-henry wma. Its about 5,000 acres and a friend from this site said it would be a good place to go hunt for 6 days and 2 days of scouting before i start my hunt. So what do you guys think about a Kentucky hunt do you think its worth it and if u have any tips lmk
do it man I hunt a half hour from higginson henry every year. I go the first week of november every year and its by far my favorite place to go hunt. I've. Had a shot at a nice buck every year I've went and even missed a 150" two years ago:{. Were on the same team so we should meet up down there this year and kill a couple big ones!
