    Thong;)

Heartland Bowhunters is who I was thinking of they use Elite Bows and Sitka gear. Lets just say I don't see to many average hunters spending the cash on Sitka gear.

I know what you mean. The entire process is simply amazing, especially when you are talking about antlers of that size and complexity. Did God create some amazing creatures on this earth or what?

Around me, the bucks seem to love to rub autumn olive shrubs in the early season and then not so much later in the fall. I am guessing there is something to reaching all the crevices and whatnot, but I am guessing.

Those are our good friends Chris Kiernan and Garrett Armstrong with Elite Archery. Chris had been after that buck for a while now and finally caught up with him. Truly an amazing animal!

I just moved up to this area the beginning of September. I also just heard about this buck today. For those who are still around the site that have discussed this buck, if you did not know, this buck was poached and the hunter was charged with it among many other charges. Does anyone know exactly where this buck was taken, and where he kept saying he was shooting these big bucks? I find it hard to believe that this guy could just go around and hunt on ground that he did not have permission to hunt and kill big buck after big buck. Anybody know the details to this story?

Heck of a buck, sounds like the hunter is being prosecuted for shooting this deer on lands be was trespassing on.

He sounds like one of the goofballs that will just ignore everything to go after a trophy class deer and to hell with rules, regs or anything else. Glad they threw the book at the jerk and hope it teaches a well deserved lesson.

Unfortunately there are guys like that in most every area. We have one in our county! It is amazing what he has gotten away with over the years.
