I found some old scrambled stuff in his forum but nothing organized or recent anywhere I could see.

I've got just the opposite......... I only know one person around me that doesn't enter their bucks. Not me, I enter all of mine.

It's all how you score it also.

I have a buck that scores 171'' gross non typical, 167'' Net Non typical
Score this same buck typical and he scores 151 Typical Gross and 119'' Typical Net

    It's a weird system, LOL

    Score him as non-typical blood

Or just forget about net and entering him in a book and always refer to the gross score....after all, that's the only one that matters. ;)

If the deductions for typical are so high, then he should qualify as a non-typical.

I haven't entered any of mine. My dad entered one of his basement full, but it scratches at 190".

Some of the top states actually surprised me. Kentucky has been shooting up the ranks the last number of years. You can see why when you go there, but it is still impressive. Dang state has huge deer and elk! What a deal!

And that right there folks is why net scoring & the P&Y (B&C) "official" scoring system is about as dumb as it gets. It even makes he BCS look good.

I think we are on 6th edition and yes I have the book. It's a whopping 7.50 cents on amazon, but I am at work right now. Will shoot you a PM if peak does not beat me to it this weekend.
