So i took my bow out to practice before the season opener on saturday. After 2 shots the bobble level on my sight pops off and flies off into the yard. The sight is a Trophy Ridge Punisher 5 that came on the RTH package with my bow. Just wondering what your suggestions are on a fix or if i should look into replacing the sight finally.

I had the same thing happen to my Trophy Ridge sight that came on my bow. I threw that thing away and bought a Viper sight, its awesome.

I have a bubble level on mine and don't know that I have ever payed attention to it. I wouldn't worry about it. Make sure your peep and sight are lined up and your fine!

I lost mine in the woods still hunting one day. I emailed the manufacturer (Black gold sight) and they sent me a new level for free.

    It's worth a shot. :tu:

Well the elmers glue is drying, no crazy glue in the house. If it busts off after like i am expecting i will have to make due until i have the money to buy a new sight. the ones i like aren't cheap.

the bubble just glues in place no snaps or screws. I checked the trophy ridge site and they would either repair or replace. For something as simple as a bubble level i am guessing repair and there is no way i am sending in my sight with the opener a mere 43 hours away.

I have a Trophy Ridge site with a level. I like the level - it will help your accuracy. I broke my level off going to the stand one day. When I called up TR, told them what site I had, they sent a replacement level in the mail - free of charge. The more you shoot, the more routine level the site is.

You know, now that you mention it I can't recall a single time on a hunting shot that I looked at the level on my sight. It sure makes a difference on 60, 70 and 80 yard shots at a 3D course though.

It's a Trophy Ridge problem. There quality control sucks. You never know what your going to get with them.

I have an HHA one pin sight and it also has a level, if you like the sight I wouldnt say to get a whole new one and spend the extra money, especially considering season is only 2 days away which wouldnt leave you much time to sight it in... i can honestly tell you that i think ive looked at my level a whole 2 times out of about 200 shots. Then again, its all personal preference and if you didnt like the sight, well its just an excuse to get a new one!

I check my level a lot. I think on every shot it is just second nature.
