This is my buckwheat plot after a month. Its around 6" tall throughout the entire plot! I think that is pretty good, what do you guys think?

Not bad at all. I was just up in my buckwheat this afternoon. No pics since I have a new phone, but no new waterproof case yet:D

    Looks good and nice spot.

Weird request= Can you post up a close up picture of the plot?

I would put up a little seclusion cage to see how much the deer are eating it. That way you can see how well a plant does when left alone.

Hell yeah! Thanks bro! I'm pretty proud of myself since it is my first plot an all, an the fact that I used no power tools whatsoever ( rototiller, tractor, chainsaw) just a shovel a ho an a ton of elbow grease

Oh yes! When I put my mind to somethin it gets done. Granite I started workin on it about February or March an finished the first week of May. I put sooooo many hours into since it was virgin land an had a ton of roots an huge rocks.

no deer dont mind it. They are actually curious of it. I run my camera year round, on one plot and not long after I left the little fence cage deal was the first thing they were sniffing.
By my house I watched a yearling buck rip off my fence around a small maple tree and play with it like a dog would a toy in its mouth by tossing it around.
