http://www.metro.co.uk/tv/856821-charlie-sheen-wants-3m-per-episode-to-return-to-two-and-a-half-men Watch the 2 minute interview at the bottom of the page. I'm tired of hearing this guy biatch & moan about something he brought on himself. So, now he wants a raise from $2M an episode to 3M and talks about suing. I wouldn't shed a tear if this guy choked on his "7 gram crack rock." My favorite quote.
Not taking up for the guy......But... What exactly did he do wrong? What's the persona of his character on the show? Yeah. He's "out there". But, most "artists" are.
Here is a start in a general sense....notice how his problems are starting to occur more frequently, thereby disrupting the filming and production of his show? http://www.wmbfnews.com/story/14146355/charlie-sheen-a-timeline-of-bad-behavior Specifically, CBS told him that if he acted like a jack-a on the radio that they would cancel the show. He acted like a complete jack-a last week, so they held true to their word.
I still don't totally get what they're mad about. It's not like they don't know how he is. The show's (I think) 8 yrs old or so. So...they told him they'd dump the show, and they did. What's the big deal? I mean...he IS an easy mark. I understand HOW people would vilify him. I don't know "why" they would (unless they worked on the show). I think those 120 or so people who have a legitimate *****.
They're mad about him being a total self-centered jack- a who has no regard for anyone else. He constantly disrupts the production of the show and is a negative distraction for their company. This is just like a professional athlete who is great and acts like a total prima-donna at the expense of his co-workers. Teams part ways with them because of not only the current impact on their company, but on the long term impact. Even though that player is currently "helping" the team by winning, he is actually degrading the fabric of the team within and that is toxic.
Well....apparently, either you have bad info., or Charlie was lying this morning when he said he'd never missed a day of production (interview on NBC). If he was lying, then the 120 or so people who were affected (work on the show) have a good reason to be torqued. Why is ANYone else "mad"?
I am not mad about anything, just stating the facts Jeff. Saying someone has never missed a day of production is like slanting any kind of statistical "facts". Set days of production.....days of production he said he would attend....days of production re-arranged for his bs. I can say I am 7 foot tall and 350 pounds of muscle right here and right now, but is it true? Charlie can say whatever he wants but it does not mean it is true. This is from CBS: (CBS/AP) The crew of "Two and a Half Men" is reportedly extremely upset with Charlie Sheen, as shooting for the show continues to be on hold after Sheen's latest round of off-screen antics. PICTURES: Kacey Jordan According to E! Entertainment, a source said that workers on the show are furious about the pay they're missing while the show is on hiatus. The site reports that Sheen has offered to make up about one-third of their missed pay. In an interview on "The Dan Patrick Show," which airs in syndication on radio and on satellite TV provider DirecTV, Sheen said he was prepared to get back on the set but those in charge of the series weren't. "They said, 'You get ready and we'll get ready.' And I got ready and went back and nobody's there," he said. "I'm here and I'm ready. They're not. Bring it, you know?" The CBS series went on hiatus last month after Sheen was briefly hospitalized following a 911 call in which a neighbor said the actor was intoxicated and in pain. Porn star Kacey Jordan told TMZ that Sheen was hospitalized after a night of partying. Sheen's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, initially cited the actor's history of hernia problems when Sheen was hospitalized. He later said his client went into rehab, but he did not say why.
Brett....even if he lied and he has missed production. Why does anyone care (unless you're one of the 120 or so who work on the show)? I can't for the life of me understand why they would. I wonder what I'd be doing if I was single.....rich....famous....and had a part-time job.
Jeff, I understand what you saying philosophically, but for me it is hard to separate the whole man. I look at people in their entirety and expect others to do the same with me. He is a ****** bag. I for one could really care less what he does.
I don't care what he does personally, but I am still able to talk about the situation on a general level if I feel the need. And today, I have the need.....the need for speed! No pun intended.
I don't know about you... but I'd quit my part time job !!! :D He isn't the only one who made money from the show. Without him there is no show. With Charlie's track record... the 120 people should be happy he made it as long as he did. If they were that stupid as to not to see this coming... well I just have a hard time feeling too sorry for them. Really is nothing new here. Most of the 120 will more then likely be working with another problem star in the near future in their line of work. Same old... same old. Tim
I watched some of the interveiws I hope he gets things settled straight. But 3million a episode is crazy.
Show me the way home goose. Never watch his show, Major League is the only movie I liked of his. From what I read he's Addicted with some serious issues.
