Yep, when Concealed Carry finally passed here, Quinn was obligated by his party and his monetary donators to veto it as an "assault weapons" ban knowing full well he was going to be vetoed when he did it. Politicians are about as compassionate as a colony of termites on untreated timber. Biggest difference is it takes treatment of the wood to ward off termites, whereas it takes money to ward off the politician. Germ is about as smart as he sounds, and that ain't saying much. If money buys smarts, he's pretty damn smart, sold to the highest bidder. Ol' Gary is social status man, if you don't make 6 figures you aren't on his level. He'll make fun of you if a Covid shot puts you in the hospital and forget all about that when the virus affects him through a loved one. He's compassionate though..... if compassion were a joke, he'd be the spokesperson.
