    today Newsome in CA announced a $10 billion 'tax refund' to all registered vehicle owners, $400 per vehicle with a 2 vehicle per household cap ((so $800/household with cars.)

    At California's current average gas prices of nearly $6.00/gallon, average of 15-20 gallon tank per vehicle; that's approximately 3-4 fill-ups per car. For $10 billion dollars.

    Enough to get the uhauls across the state line.

    Interesting article, folks are crossing into Mexico to buy cheaper gas. Could get spicy if the cartels start acting up…

    Where I live the gas is generally .10-.20 higher than the country where I work, due to my home county being 1 of 2 in the state with strict emission controls and gas mixtures due to the damn feds .. 4.42 in my county, 4.31 in my work county ... neither are cheap of course ... I drive 60 miles round trip daily, and have been working over 110 days straight/ no days off ..... FJB !!
