I'll be honest, I have not met any Trumpers like you have described. I even went to a Trump rally last summer that was near by. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised as to the fun time, interesting conversation and great behavior displayed by 20,000 people at one gathering. I live in an area that is over 90% red. Most are Trump supporters and they are hard working people that absolutely hate seeing where this country has gone. Owning a bar, I also come across Dems and Libs. Talk about dumbassery ..... wow! That's what's running/ruining our country. These people are all on board the climate change train and they can't explain why. There was another guy, ex military, who works at Fort McCoy where there a lot of Afghans being prepped and exported all over our country. The bleeding heart he is, he feels sorry for these people and believes in our country helping them. When told that we should have got every last American out of Afghanistan BEFORE helping the foreigners, he got all bent out of shape and left. Good it was best. A lot of people around here work at that military base and more than a few come in and tell about the horror and nastiness a lot of these imports are causing. They are destroying the barracks, tearing the walls down, wrecking the plumbing, littering all over the place, instances of rape and on and on. If these people are so grateful for our help why are they acting this way. The way I see it is the people that are instigating/allowing these kinds of activities, open borders and importing hundreds of thousands of illegal people in hopes they vote democrat forever are the enemies. Not a few flag waving, mouth breathing Trump supporters.

I topped off after work yesterday, diesel is $3.91/gal here currently. I often see arguments for how viable going to electric vehicles is from the greenie crowd, and that there are charging stations "everywhere"! For fun I googled "EV charging station near me". It claimed there is one, that there's even one surprised me, but its location is in a really odd spot outside of town along highway 95. Makes me think it is probably a private installation. It claimed there was another one in a town about 40 minutes away. Spokane, WA is two hours north and I'm sure there's some there, but every other direction from here there is zilch for several hours, except perhaps the Tri-Cities. I avoid recreating in WA state like it's the plague. They are a long way from being viable here in Idaho for anything other than a short commute-to-work vehicle that can then be plugged in at home every night. On the weekends the majority that live here are hooking up trailers to diesel pickups and traveling 1.5 to 3 hours away from any form of fuel or electricity source to "get away" for the weekend. Camping, fishing rivers/lakes, hunting, boating, atv/utv riding, horseback riding, hiking, etc., etc. A high majority of the places we go for fun there isn't even cell coverage, pure bliss.
