This needs a back ground... When our kids were small I needed to find a way to heighten their awareness in the idea of consequences to things that were " naughty " they may have done. So I explained that even if mom wasn't around to see their actions God is. So Remember if you have been sneaky in things you've done or said God will let you know he's watching. It may not be right away but when you say stub a toe, bite your cheek or tongue, trip, ect,ect Gods letting you know he wasn't happy with what you know was wrong. The same goes for the good things you do and good things that happen. So a common theme in our house was the comment " told you Gods watching" Now with that background: Hey California....Gods watching

I am a traditional conservative and I do not believe I am outside of the mainstream mindset, now if I lived by the tall buildings I would be but I will never live in the city.

WOW....the proverbial can of worms is yet opened again. No worries, I agree with you. My brother in law's mother was raped by a Nazi soldier when they occupied the Netherlands. She become pregnant as a result but her strong Christian faith would not let her abort that child. She later married and had 3 more sons there after. ALL of those boys were loved and raised the same. The one conceived in rape turned out to be a great man and I'm glad to know him.
