The only acceptable person on the Supreme Court is a non binary mix race person of at least 7 different races.

 

It is kinda funny and sad when they try to out liberal each other.

 

Its beyond weird...and racist, sexist. Everything they preach against. Utterly illogical and probably if challenged, illegal.

I just re-read this and have to add to my earlier comment.
First, the bill criminalizes all private sales unless the seller conducts a full background check through the sheriff (some city municipalities are big enough to manage this, but most will be the county sheriff.) Then, the local department can deny the sale based on any 'public safety concern.'

Then, the bill states an applicant must complete 8 hours of HANDGUN training without regards to what type of firearm you are looking to purchase. lots of people out there (esp. hunters) have no intention of buying or using handguns.

If any Republican in IL had any balls, they should propose an amendment that in order to mitigate disparate impact on poor and minorities; said 8 hours of handgun training will be required learning in all IL public schools.
