Nunes resigned but went to work for Trump, INC. I think he saw the writing on the wall- his district is being erased by the California Commie supermajorities. They lost 2 House rep spots due to population flight; like IL did to Kinzinger (good riddance anyway) of course the Dems realigned the district to ensure a Republican was going to lose.
