This pretty much sums up the missle launch from last night. Got busy at work, bu this is from CNN shortly under 2 hours ago. The people there have no idea what really happened, their dictators tell them what to believe so they probably think this was a huge military response.
They're trying to save face and look strong for their people. Like "we really showed those Americans not to mess with us." I'm ok with that as long as it don't escalate any further and no Americans are hurt or killed.
Exactly, I would not be surprised if they told their people the US shot down the passenger flight as well. I was in bed before that was reported, but seen a few mentions early on they thought it was shot down. Not saying it wasn't, but the media want to be the first to break news they jump the gun. Same with a shooting here in the US, they want to be first to broadcast the words "assault rifle", and you can sense their disappointment when it does not end up being the case.
Have give credit when things just work. Trump calls for attack to kill general, Iran fires on bases and miss. Now it appears they shot down a passenger plane when trying to hit US targets. Now Iran is completely backed into a corner. Make Iran look like doorknob hats coming soon
He was a bad man..BUT Impeachment is urgent.. BUT Trump de-escalated...BUT Now I get their parties symbol of the Ass, a party with all their Butts hanging out for all to see.
I just don't get why Iran/Iraq and the whole area wouldn't have canceled all commercial flights. Iraq was given notice that missles were going to be sent and they were not the target. Something was fishy about it from the get go, and then when Iran was refusing to give up the black box it became obvious.
There it is Trudeau's press conference a english speaking reporter tries to put blame on U.S...I wonder an American reporter? Wouldn't be surprised.
