Punished for sure and I don't normally do this, I believe he may actually need help. I look at that woman and seriously get a very ,I mean really very bad vibe. Don't get me wrong, he's responsible. I agree, the prosecutor seemed overly emotional for an arraignment and bond hearing. This, and the Rittenhouse trial, are why I am tempering my opinions.
I've seen social media pics of her when she looked younger and she was not completely unattractive. Their mug shots are after being on the run for 2-3 days hiding out in an abandoned bulding in Detroit, but even prior to that she looked to me like she was strung out a bit. But as long as we are conjecturing based on pictures, looks to me like the kid was another incel and probably on anti-depressants. Like nearly all of these juvenile spree shooters.
Someone on another forum brought up an interesting concept and one I am not sure has ever come into play. It may also stand behind my "emotional" involvement factoring into her abrupt announcement of charges being filed against the parents. Before I go further, I want it known I support full prosecution and the stiffest penalties to those that deserve it based on facts. The kid is obvious, an insanity plea will not save him. The parents and school staff should have been charged equally and together based on the schools emergency call for intervention and then allowing the kid to go back to his school day. That said, the prosecutor could have effed up before ever getting started. She intends to charge and prosecute the the kid as an adult. If he is an adult how will charges against the parents as his guardians hold up? Can they pick and choose when the kid was a minor vs when he acted in an adult manor? At what age of an offspring do parents stop becoming culpable of their childs actions? So many times the prosecutor during her initial charges filed statement said those key political/emotional phrases. "I understand firearm ownership is a right", "I don't want to make this sound political", "I know many people who own guns", "I feel", "I think", etc... I personally need more facts on the history of the kid, to be able to villify the parents. Mainly, was there a history with him and associated violent tendencies? Did he just snap within the few weeks leading up to it and the parents failed to recognize? The parents were ready to flee for certain, why? You don't withdraw $4k for a turn in unless you are wanting commissary for a lengthy jail stay. Something does not add up on that front either. If they are indeed culpable and guilty of negligence, I hope they get the sentence they deserve rather than being set free by an emotionally overzealous prosecutor.
@dnoodles, My gut feeling has nothing to do with attractiveness or mug shots. That feeling came with a first look at a selfie of her and husband. My gut feelings rarely ever fail me when it comes to summing up people. I'll stick with the wait to see what floats to the surface in that toilet bowl of a situation.
Are you speaking of the one they are kind of huddled over the camera? If so, that's actually a video and not certain when it was taken. But yeah, that definitely painted a different image than the initial photos of them, which I presume were state DL/ID photos based on the backdrop. They looked a bit more wore down. I can't base anything on their actual mugshots though, guilty or not, their lives have been turned upside down the past week.
Mrs. Noodles can watch a man and a woman interact 'platonically'/professionally and almost instantly intuitively know if they are uhhh....secretly intimate. And she is always right. It's uncanny.
