    They do that all the time. There was one a year or three back where the Anderson Cooper was showing the flooding that occured, standing in waste high water. Was later revealed he was standing in a ditch.

    As much as I love weather I haven't watched The Weather Channel in several years. Only time I watched it then was watching Greg Forbes during tornado outbreaks.

    I get all my weather information from the actual sources that forecast them. TWC is too much like MTV, bunch of docuseries and even movies at times.

    Sunday I spent the day on a weather forum following Ida and watching New Orleans local stations on the TV. Always watch local stations during big events, they are actually reporting and trying to keep people safe rather than going for ratings gold.
