Won't happen until the Taliban holds remaining US citizens hostage and or starts killing them. They need more $$$$. They are being whispered to by Iran and China and Russia. Retired Major Richard Ojeda is mistaken, imo. It is more expensive to use the US military to train foreign armies than hiring private contractors [mercenaries]. Also, the US military trained the military forces of The Republic of Vietnam. They didn't last long after we pulled out, either. nothing can truly predict how a trained army will react when the shooting starts or the enemy begins moving. Good gracious, George McClellan might have been the best US military general regarding training ever and his armies had a great deal of problems once the shooting started. And Ojeda's argument about the war just being for fat cat private contractors is one the hard left would also use on his career choice.

My issue with this theory is. As bad as Biden is, Kamala is even worse. She has done a great job cementing her public image as a two faced, worthless politician since becoming VP. Her handling of the border has shone this. She will be even worse than Biden at rallying the country to vote blue at the midterms, and in 2024. Now, if someone who was even slightly more competent than her was in the hotseat, I might agree with you. But I would be shocked if they gave Kamala the reigns (pun intended) at this point.
I read today Kommiela's numbers are tanking, she's 43% approval ... Joe aint much better .... What a bunch of screw ups !! ....
