Perhaps people are playing fast and loose with birth control knowing in the back of their mind that there is always a failsafe out. When that failsafe is taken away, people's behaviors may change.

You absolutely can cut taxes and debt at the same time- you just can't pass massive bloated spending budgets while doing so. We do (or did) not have a revenue problem- only spending problems.
Not quite. SCOTUS did just take a case (15 week/heartbeat ban) that could put it to bed for all time. SCOTUS could vote to overturn that state law based on RvW precedence which would pretty much codify abortion as a right nationally. After that, only a Constitutional amendment could override that. (Not that Rs wouldn't run on just that.) Or, they could affirm the state law as it stands and in so doing either completely overturn RvW -or- consider that law to be a 'reasonable' restriction and leave that and similarly restrictive state laws in place while not completely overturning RvW. And lastly, for those of us who are staunchly pro-Life; the 'issue' will never be over.

I used to love watching old western movies with clearly defined bad guys and good guys. Made so much sense to me with right and wrong. Then I realized that's not real life, and evil people come in all shapes and sizes, concealing their intentions and selling out their souls for money and power. That is absent of any political party, color, religion, anything.....the percentage of crapbags is equally distributed amongst all socio economic groups and structures. Just need a 2 bedroom wood cabin near some water and some public land bucks to hunt. Goal is 10 yrs and I'm going bye bye.

I get a kick out of the Trump haters because of the things he said, anybody else read the excerpts about the Obama book? Barry calling Trump and others all unsavory names. Thing is for all you people that hate Trump, he said it to the microphone on camera, the rest talk the same as Trump does they just don't have the balls to be on the record saying it, they whisper it to their supporters when they think nobody will find out they say things like that.
He had many flaws but the guy held multiple meetings a day answering to people that loathed him and did everything they could to stretch and turn around everything he said. Yet he did it day after day without a teleprompter. Beyond that guys, let's hear you celebrate your choice over trump. Biden has done SO much good so far. But hell I'll let you tell us about it.
