Did you read the comments the attorney for the Q Shaman that stormed the capital made in an interview? I have to say I agree with his assessment. "they are all f'ing short bus people, these are people with brain damage, They are f'ing retarded, there're on the goddamn spectrum. I do not agree with the rest of what he said though.
I've seen that on many signs here. Granted, it is mostly restaurants/fast food joints, but they are entry level jobs. They are not meant to be career opportunities, although every now and again you get someone who works their way up through the ranks etc... This is why I believe a lot of these Covid regulations and unemployment incentives were pushed. They were aimed at these exact types of jobs. To get the minimum wage to $15 by any means possible and why not incentivize those just turning, or about to, 18 years of age who are new voters. Skilled labor positions are hurting as well, but for different reasons. They are not entry level, but they do have apprenticeships and journeyman positions with some to work with those entering the workforce for the first time. The problem with these job positions is the laziness of today's youth. They don't want to work for their money, they want their money given to them for as little work as possible. They pretty much want an allowance for doing a chore type position. They were forced by their parents to get up and get a job and try to show some responsibility. Get rid of PE and study halls in school, been clear for a long time it is not working, bring back shop and trades courses. I've said it many times on here, those classes can lead someone on the right path in life, both societal and monetarily. I've worked at McDonald's, Wendy's, a couple steakhouses, an auto repair shop, shaped Christmas trees during July and August, a meat packing plant, and now a CNC manufacturing business. Some jobs lasted a week, others a year or more. That's OK, it's finding your path in life and enjoying what you do. Working on my 17th year at my current job and unless my brother figures out a way to be partners in his business, it's where I'll likely retire from(if they don't go belly up by the woke). Took me 16 years in the workforce, using other jobs and past education as stepping stones, to get to where I am now. I'm never fully happy at my job, but I am content with it. You can't make stepping stones into golden walkways, imagine what it would be like if every job paid the same regardless of skillset needed. That's what this liberal push will bring eventually, then UBI won't seem so bad.
Exactly, notice how the CDC had to "clarify" their no mask statement for fully vaccinated? Well, um, you can not wear a mask or have to socially distance if fully vaccinated, unless our new recommendations impeded or somehow alter a Democrat governor's Emergency Powers or some other special interest group's requirements/restrictions as they know better than Science/Specialists. GTFOOH, GFY!
