I love the word squish. It's vulgar and insulting but most people miss it. Well played. I have often referred to Senator Mitt Romney as Squish Mitten Romney. I just couldn't stand how weak he was in the debate against Obama, how many times he could have pressed him on Benghazi but backed off instead. He reminded me of a boxer who lacked the stamina or courage to exploit an opponent's weakness when given a chance.
I think They got something on him and let him know it right before that last debate.. He came into that last one like a freshly neutered dog and has acted the same way ever since.
So Biden cancelled the fireworks scheduled at Mt. Rushmore. The Dems are the most childish, vengeful, sneaky,lying group of human waste. I could not even imagine the extant of their self absorbed evilness. This is not all Dems. It's the party and the party puppet masters. I've always known the depths of ineptness in the Republican party. Their total self importance and worth is epic. They just don't join as one in evilness, as do the Dems. Then again they can't ALL join as one for good as well. Imagine, just imagine life now had the Republicans not been so self absorbed at the very beginning of Trumps presidency. Well Biden keep your fire works or give them to YOUR looting rioters. I'll be calling on REAL AMERICANS to dress up their homes, vehicals, campers ,boats, communities in the red , white and blue. To show national historical pride. Not just on the 4th but ALL summer. Remember your independence before it is taken from you. My right to my opinion
Is this just a game that left and right politicians play? Trump had fireworks at Mt. Rushmore in 2020, but besides that, there hasn’t been a fireworks show since 2009(Obama) Before that, fireworks shows there ran from 03 to 09. I didn’t go back any further than that. Couldn’t really care less honestly. Just seems like a stupid game the political elites in Washington have been playing for 20+ years. Why waste my energy on something like this. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the chaos in this country, I do appreciate people pushing back against an overreaching government which includes spying and intimidation. We have been warned about the growing freight train of government power for many years...yet we let it happen.
I ran a fire crew in 2012 I believe in SD we protected Rushmore and got stuck working night shifts after the front got knocked down. Best thing ever we could not travel after our shift b because of the stupid 2-1 work rest ratio, they expected us to sit in the staging area for 8 hours. I told the bus driver get us out drive us to rushmore, I said I would pay the entrance fee, little did I know what a bus with 20 people would cost to enter I saw the signs and gulped, until security said come on in all you want to eat and drink is free for the fire crews. Best piece of pumpkin pie I ever had.
