I think it's more nefarious than that. Instagram, IMHO, it's mostly peacocks. There is a very dark side to others motives to push their agendas, and morph society to accept their ideology. Usery, lies or whatever, ameans to an end. OK, that may sound a bit tin foil hat... But turn captions on while watching network news... It's not reporting on facts or events anymore. It's reporting before events occur, emotive language, and select messages generally highlighting some disenfranchised/unequal/illtreated minority/belief/ideology... Sure that's msm... What about your employer? Seeing any of this coming at you? We have a health app... We get a discount on our health insurance for healthy lifestyle (a Quid pro quo - healthy workforce is more productive for employer and reduces insurance/costs (med, pharma, etc)... Employees pay less for insurance). It uses gameefiction, via points, challenges, etc as psychological and usability studies show that is favored by our younger employees (avg age for our corp is about 30). We have a vegan challenge for this month... What about politics? Anybody read about the California bear bill (now pulled)? Totally based on Peta...
