Good 'ol James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas has the goods on Twitters CEO Dorsey in new recordings .. https://politicrossing.com/okeefe-fires-first-shot-at-twitters-dorsey-with-new-release/ BUSINESS O’Keefe Fires First Shot at Twitters Dorsey with New Release Quotes from the Project Veritas Video: Jack Dorsey, Twitter CEO: “We are focused on one account [@realDonaldTrump] right now, but this is going to be much bigger than just one account, and it’s going to go on for much longer than just this day, this week, and the next few weeks, and go on beyond the inauguration.” Dorsey: “So, the focus is certainly on this account [@realDonaldTrump] and how it ties to real world violence. But also, we need to think much longer term around how these dynamics play out over time. I don’t believe this is going away anytime soon.” Dorsey: “You know, the U.S. is extremely divided. Our platform is showing that every single day.” vid/ recordings at link up top ..
LOL! I just don't get it. I try to stay out of politics and debates because I am not the most quick-witted or fastest on my feet with rebuttals. I'm of average intelligence (102 IQ), and I have a 3.94 GPA in graduate school. I feel as if I'm missing something, or seeing something that no one else sees. Last spring I took a class in undergrad, the Holocaust and how it happened. The professor had a Ph.D. in history, specializing in the Holocaust, devoting his entire life and career to the subject. I sat there and learned through official Nazi documents, personal accounts of survivors, Germans, and witnesses of how it was allowed to happen. I was fascinated and nauseated all at the same time. the details were stomach-turning and I had to stop reading several times. However, I did learn and see how easily it happened, and wrote a 12-page final paper with empirical evidence describing how it happened and received a 98% and a "Spot-on, 100% accurate" comment from the professor. I also had to sit there and listen to this professor say that we have to be extremely careful with our existing Commander in Chief because there are narcissistic similarities between him and Adolph Hitler, the "concentration camps" at the border and we are on a slippery slope. The professor was very open to discussion and there were several Vets in the class with me. I broached the subject by saying, "I see what you are saying about our current president, but as a progressive independent, I see more danger coming from the democratic side of things." I said more, with examples provided and a few of the other vets chimed in with the same thoughts. He genuinely listened, and we had a great discussion about it that lasted for hours. I was not trying to change his mind like he was trying to change mine, I wanted him to hear what I see. We ended up finding common ground on agreeing society needs to be ever careful regardless of who is in office. Less than a year later, it is as if we in America are in 1930s Germany, and history is repeating itself. E-Kristallnacht has happened this past week on FB. Many of my friends' and veteran friends' FB accounts were deleted for speaking out about the Democratic Reich seizing power. I see many similarities between Hitler's rise to power and the Democrats' actions. Hitler slowly took the freedoms away from the German people but masked it by giving the citizens cash "bonuses", among other benefits. Sound familiar? Stimulus checks? I try my hardest not to watch the news of any sort, due to the bias reporting. Again, I'm not a republican or democrat, I'm a progressive independent. I cannot stand the tunnel vision of extreme left and right. It is okay that someone else has a different opinion than you, that is their human right. Don't push your propaganda on me, and I won't push mine on you. I would like to live in a world where all men/women or whatever you identify as, are treated equally. The division of our country over the past two decades is beyond alarming. I strongly believe the media is largely responsible for this, as well as career politicians. There need to be term limits of four years per term, and no more than two terms. I just don't get how so many educated people, and scholars, are so blinded by their opinions on Trump, that ironically THEY are the ones breeding so much hate amongst the American people?
Bidens plan....."The plan would put in place a federal moratorium on evictions and foreclosures until the end of September. " Big brother interfering with peoples lives. A federal moratorium. Wow. This is where states need to tell the feds to shove it. I cant imagine being a landlord and being told I have abide by these extreme measures. People just living in your house or apartment and doing whatever they want to do. Screw the homeowner. They didn't work hard for anything to be able to have a life where they are able to rent something and make their own financial decisions.
but hey, most will have another $1400 shortly tacked on to the $600 Pelosi was so kind to give you ... btw, Bidens new plan is only gonna cost 1.9 Trillion ... this country is so screwed Biden Unveiling $1.9T Plan to Stem Virus and Steady Economy https://www.newsmax.com/politics/virus-outbreak/2021/01/14/id/1005674/ Biden calls for more direct cash to Americans in new stimulus package The money would be distributed on top of $600 checks, which have already been sent https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/biden-direct-payments-stimulus-package
Man President Reagan had a way with words. His words ring true, almost 60 yrs later. Just listen, particularly around 4:30.....
Well said Joe. I might add, you are lucky that your professor was as tolerant to your viewpoint as he was. Most students with outspoken ideas that dont fit the liberal mold dont fair out too well in the class. I had a young intern shadowing me at work not too long ago. He was finishing his electrical engineering degree. He told me how he and a few of his classmates called themselves the “closet conservatives”. They had watched people with opposing viewpoints than their professors fail classes for the obvious reason that they were not a certain political affiliation. Because of this, knowing they were outnumbered, they had to keep their mouths shut everyday to survive.
I would have flunked out for sure. I wonder why there weren't more lawsuits concerning free speech at some of these universities.
