So since we are in the phase of healing and such, I may seem highstrung etc., but in reality I am someone who has had held the same beliefs way longer than Trump was ever a candidate. My vote in the Primary was for Cruz, Trunp was the only option in the general for me and he actually delivered on a lot of promises early on, some he had to do by EO because the Chambers given to him to get them done sat on their hands in fear of showing Trump some support. The media, High Profile Congressional Dems and Hollywood/Athlete Elites kept the heat on and would not allow the Anti Trump crowd to let down, Trump would not allow his crowd to let down and the past 4 years have been nothing more than greater division created by both factions. I get charged up on here, and when words like unhinged, idiotic, lemming, ignorant get thrown around I like to defend myself and swing back a bit, then the other swings back etc.. It's one trait I did come to like about Trump, he didn't BS and put you in your place. Is Jim Acosta anyones field reporter of the year? I really hope not Go back to the end of 2016 in this thread and you will see I was wishy washy on Trump. For him one minute and against the next. 4 1/2 years later and I don't believe he was ever allowed a fair shake and to shut up and do his job. He was constantly on the defense against the people in this country. Alas, it is what it is. It ended on the worst note possible and now sounds like he'll be impeached a 2nd time after he has left office to forbid a 2nd term run. I don't think he could win a 2024 campaign personally, but that's just my thoughts and I'd rather see a new candidate to see if the media and their cohorts can actually accept anyone as a Republican candidate. I've stated before, what is in this thread stays in this thread, outside of it I have no qualms with anyone, luckily Rancid wasn't in this thread or I would have to astrisk that comment lol. I think the Senate, while Democrat controlled will be the one to hold extreme policies at bay because they will have to protect their mosts delicates. In closing, I do not support what happened at the Capitol, I do not support the treatment of any duly elected President as which this one went through, regardless of Party and I just hope that future elections can go on without mistrust and shenanigans. Biden will be president, I cannot promise I will not ***** about it within this thread, but I can say I accept it for what it is and hope he holds the extreme lefts in Congrees in check, and the slim margin in the Senate holds everything in check. I do believe the extreme left members running for elected offices are gaining momentum and that truly does scare me. I like Pop-Tarts, but not for supper.

I can find way more reasons to dislike a person before I even get to political affiliation, also there are reasons to appreciate a person as well. But typically if a person is a real A-hole about life they are A-holes about politics just on opposite sides.
