Absolutely I will not deny many hundreds of people from the rally went in. Most of them looked like average Trump supporters. A few were the ones you could tell were ready and eager for violence (gas masks, body armor, bats etc). There was not any order being upheld by anybody. I am honestly surprised at how well the crowd behaved given the circumstances. Imagine allowing hundreds of thousands onto the grounds and letting them do whatever they wished. To have 300,000+ people there, and to only have +/-1,500 enter the building shows incredible restraint in my opinion. People tend to act as a herd in groups. You EASILY could have seen 20,000-30,000 people go in and level the place. Had the intent been to occupy the Capitol building and install our new "king," the place might have been occupied for days. And there would have been some serious bloodshed. But the media dictates the narrative, and the standard by which people are judged. Malcontents under the guise of BLM & Antifa burn, kill and destroy. But they are excused. Malcontents under the guise of Trump supporters do the same, and everyone who even dares disagree is vilified and made to be complicit with the worst of the worst.
In 11 days, Biden will be the President of the United States. I pray he does right by the country. In the meantime, some serious reconciliation needs to happen between l̶e̶f̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶r̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ Americans. If we cannot figure out how to love each other and stand together again on anything quickly, then we are doomed.
