The 2nd impeachment and removal from office guarantees he can never hold a political office again. They will get it through and a few Republicans will vote for it to make it bipartisan.

I'm OK with it for the simple fact that I was not OK with hosting/speaking at a protest rally in your own name and backyard. He did not call for a raid on Congress within the Capitol, but he did host it in its location and that resulted in opportunity and distraction for further opportunity of those with further maliciousness to act out.

Regardless of what has happened and will, Trump did more for this country than the past 6 presidential terms combined.

Biden would serve well to pick and choose which policies he undoes and which regulations he reverses.

those officers have very poor firearm handling knowledge ... very easy in that situation to apply to much trigger pressure and get an accidental discharge, it can happen without thinking ..

 

So I actually watched the shoot, It was not negligent. She breeched and he/she fired. I'll retract that comment and admit I was wrong, I will stay with I think those officers inside were caught off guard even the one who fired the lethal shot had his finger on the trigger a few times before the incident.

I finally watched the video, was not negligent, she breeched through an elevated window and was shot.

Because of the poor trigger finger discipline I think all officers inside were caught off guard. Even those blocking the doorway just before moved and stood to the side as they tried to force through the doors. This was not an over zealous officer, he maintained the parameter.

I think I agree with early_in though. Treat the border just like the halls of congress, shoot upon breech.

You can see the bulk of the crowd still had not yet made it to the Capitol. Outside the camera frame, were probably close to a hundred thousand more people coming in from the Trump rally off of PA ave

Again, no police perimeter in sight. No enforcement of any kind. Just Confused people trying to understand what had happened before we arrived.

I’d ask the doubters to look at those pics. How many frenzied people do you see? How many enraged protesters are there?

I see a lot of people milling around, or standing and staring. Some are even smiling.
Nobody knew what the hell had happened to the police because we weren’t there causing problems.

I’m sick of being slandered and called a terrorist by the media. They lump the entire Trump rally crowd in with the malcontents who were violent. More than sick, I am pissed off!

There a person in fb i follow that as there and started walking to the Capitol as Trump was still talking, can hear it in background, and it shows the same. Couple hundred ppl walking down the street like they would at Walmart.

Edit: the article I read was poorly worded. Officer Sicknick is still the only one to have died.
