I don't discuss differing politics with friends and family for the very reason it does no good to do so. I'll trade barbs here with those I have never met, as I told @early in previously, I treat this thread like the Vegas motto, what's said here stays here I do not carry it further. I did see the video of them smashing through windows, they deserve to be prosecuted for criminal damage, trespass and breaking and entering. Probably a few federal related charges as well. Yet, the DC mayor may have already implemented no cash bail so they're already headed back home. That said, I did not see any police cruisers on fire, no buildings ablaze and I'm nearly certain it has ended and will not become a week long up to several months long event.

Breaking into the Capitol in efforts to physically intimidate lawmakers may very well constitute a lot more than vandalism. Akin to walking up to an in session judge and threatening them in their chambers. That being said I respect your right to march and speak your mind.
That is true as well, have to think the Capitol has to hve some of the best surveilance right? If not, why? Find out who the first wave actually was and prosecute to the fullest, regardless of who they are or support.

Notice all still images being released of Capitol Police inside the chambers with guns drawn. Very few are practicing finger discipline, most have their finger in the guard and on the trigger. Not a fault or no fault post, but have to wonder why that is and if it could have been a negligent/accidental discharge. She was not killed for being an agressor although one could argue she should have never been in there to begin with. You can't blame Trump for her death, you can't blame Biden either. I don't believe you can blame the officer either, it's just a very unfortunate situation that evolved during a very wrong situation of being where you should not be.
